World of Warcraft Reputation Guide

In the Burning Crusade expansion pack for World of Warcraft, Reputation and factions are one of the best new features. One of the many factions available to you is that of the Aldor, located in Shattrath City and Shadowmoon Valley. History is always a fun addition to a faction's motivation and the Aldor are not short on History. As an order of Draenei priests, going back to ancient times, the Aldor are now led by the High Priestess Ishanah. The Aldor faction works to support the Sha'tar fight agains the Burning Legion along with the Scryers, but at all other times is at odds with the other faction.

When starting the process of building your honor as an Aldor, you must find Marks of Kil'jaeden. There are numerous places you can go to find these, but the best place is in Nagrand. In the midst of Oshu'Gun there are a large amount of Terrorguards and Kil'sorrow Ritualists that will almost constantly drop the coveted marks. You can also visit Terokkar Forrest in the Bone Wastes where any number of Cabal Tomb Raiders, Spell-weavers or Initiates will drop marks almost as often. The best part is that either way you go, you'll likely find a large amount of Runecloth and Netherweave as well.

After you've reached Honored status, you'll want to move on to Revered and Exalted. For these, you'll need more Marks. For Revered, you need Marks of Sargeras and for Exalted, Marks of Fel Armaments. The Marks of Sargeras are best found in the Legion Hold of Shadowmoon Valley. The enemies here will drop marks at about a 33% clip, making it possible to pick up almost 40 marks an hour if done properly. You can also pick up the same marks from Deathforge enemies in Deathforge with a fairly high drop rate.

To pick up the much wanted Marks of Fel Armaments, you can visit the same two locations and find these marks, though at a slightly smaller rate. However, they ultimately sell for much more in the Auction house.

If you're looking for another good spot to build up your reputation in Aldor, simply visit Netherstorm where you'll find the Forge Camps Oblivion. The monsters here are loaded with drop items and plenty of chances to pick up marks and items to raise your reputation.

Once you've built up your Aldor reputation to a high enough level, it will have raised with Sha'tar as well. Keep in mind though that if you ever decide to switch over to Scryer, your reputation will have significantly decreased. To build up Scryer reputation you should visit Sha'nir in Lower City to offer up Dreadfang Venom Sacs. These item drops are valued at about 10-12 gold in stacks of 20, so if you pick them up, hold on to them to sell in the Auction house.
